Privacy Policy
Who operates the service
This is an appointment booking platform operated on behalf of businesses. Each business acts for its own customers and is responsible for the data collected about them when they book. The platform operator provides the technical infrastructure.
What data is collected
- Name and phone number
- Email address (optional)
- Appointment details: service, time and notes you write
- Cancellation and no-show history kept by the business
- Waitlist entries
- On WhatsApp: your WhatsApp phone number and profile name, and your choices in the chat with the bot
- Technical logs
How we use the data
- Managing your appointments
- Sending SMS confirmations, reminders and updates
- Sending WhatsApp confirmations, reminders and updates, only after you agree
- Waitlist messages and rebooking offers
- Private notes the business keeps about its customers
Legal basis and consent
We process the data with your consent, given when you book. SMS messages about your own appointments are service messages. WhatsApp updates are sent only after explicit consent, given to a specific business: ticking the box when you book on the website, or chatting with the bot on WhatsApp.
Who sees the data
- The business you booked with
- The platform operator
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, the database (Supabase) and the SMS provider
- Meta, which operates WhatsApp, when you use WhatsApp
- WhatsApp messages go through Meta's WhatsApp, which processes your phone number and the message content under WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy.
- Ticking "Get updates from the business on WhatsApp" when you book on the website, or chatting with the bot from a business's link, is consent to WhatsApp updates from that business until you send "STOP" (or "עצור"). The business can also stop them.
- Every business on the platform uses the same WhatsApp number. Sending "STOP" (or "עצור") therefore stops WhatsApp updates from every business on the platform; updates continue by SMS.
- Sending "START" (or "התחל") turns WhatsApp updates back on only for the business of the current conversation.
- Alerts to business owners about their own business's appointments are separate: they follow the business's alert settings, and "STOP" does not stop them.
- We keep no chat transcripts. Only the conversation step, your choices and your WhatsApp name are stored; messages sent by the business are kept in the business's message log.
How long data is kept
Data is kept while the business uses the service, or as required by law. A request to delete data is handled with the business.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you have the right to review the personal data held about you and to ask for it to be corrected.
For privacy requests, contact the business you booked with.
Security
We use reasonable security measures, including encryption of data in transit and access control. No method is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
